Developers, PHP enthusiasts, open source advocates, you have shared your excitement about the new venue for Forum PHP: we have heard you! Forum PHP, the must-attend event of AFUP (the French PHP user-group), is back for your greatest pleasure on October 12th and 13th, 2023 for the second episode of its saga at the Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel in Disneyland Paris.

We are counting on you to enable the community to learn, discover, progress, and perfect their skills through your presentations. Whether it's a 20 or 40-minute talk, solo or with a co-speaker, or - new this year - in the form of a small-group workshop: respond to our call for papers before June 12, 2023, at 11:59 pm!

Forum PHP in a few words:

Forum PHP needs you, actors in the world of development and PHP. Come talk about your job, present your tools, your experiences, your successes or failures, and share your way of working. Whether you are a beginner or an expert in PHP development, you undoubtedly have experiences and knowledge to share with our curious and supportive community. The quality and relevance of your topic are the most important criteria in our selection process. Come talk to us about technique, quality, teamwork, or any other subject that interests you. Share with us how you overcame your last technical challenge, how open source contributed to your latest project, or how a tool changed your way of developing. Explain to us how eco-design, accessibility, or security are taken into account in your team. Come talk about the latest advances in Symfony, or introduce us to the benefits of Lavarel in your eyes. Show us what you are passionate about and share that passion with our audience!

Our speaker package includes:

Have you submitted one (or more!) proposition of talk? Keep the secret to yourself, both in terms of the themes covered and the number of proposals submitted: this way, you allow the team in charge of the program to best respect our selection process and the anonymity of submissions, while not discouraging those who embark on the adventure for the first time. We count on you to play the game and keep the suspense intact!

Eager to awaken the SuPHPer-hero within you, but intimidated by the challenge? Please note that we are also here to help you through our speaker support program. An experienced volunteer speaker will assist you throughout the process according to your needs, up to your on-stage performance. To benefit from this, please specify it when submitting your conference.

Don't have a topic to propose this time? You can still contribute to the development of the program. Throughout the duration of the call for papers and up to 48 hours after its closure, you can vote for the proposed topics using our voting and commenting system. Although votes are not decisive for the selection of topics, particularly to not impact last-minute submissions, they help us identify trends that may interest our audience.

Do you have an idea for a topic and know the perfect person to present it? Come and talk to us! You can suggest their participation through our dedicated form.

Don't delay and fill out our call for papers form now. Our team of volunteers is eager to read your proposals. See you on July 4th for the announcement of the program, or even a little earlier if you are selected!
